“My husband and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Donna on creating our honeymoon. Donna was very prompt in getting us a list of options based on what we desired for our honeymoon. We decided on a resort in the Dominican Republic, and she made sure this resort had everything we were looking for. Approximately six months from our honeymoon we found out some devastating news: The Dominican Republic had an ongoing situation with tainted alcohol. We no longer felt it was safe to go there, and as soon as Donna heard of the situation she reached out to discuss other options. We chose a resort in Saint Lucia. Our travel to the island was smooth and we felt extremely safe at our resort. After you take care of your Design Fee (this
varies depending on trip complexity—I’ll
share this with you on our call together), I’ll
begin putting together your custom trip
proposal. Once presented, you’ll share your
feedback with me and I’ll make adjustments
until it’s perfect.

Reserve & Accessorize
With your itinerary in place, you can leave all
the rest to me! I’ll book and arrange all your
trip components, including hotels, transfers, and tours. Then, we’ll “accessorize” your trip with restaurant reservations, museum tickets, special excursions, and more. Enjoy a truly full-service approach to travel planning.

What do you mean by “luxury travel”?
I brand myself as a luxury travel specialist, but I understand “luxury” means different things to different travelers. It’s not necessarily about cost or “fancy” hotels—it’s about creating a sense of total ease for your trip.
That includes considering convenience, level of support, the ease of navigating a certain destination during a difficult travel environment, and having a travel expert who can guide you and troubleshoot issues on your behalf. Of course, I can add as many traditional elements of luxury travel (like private drivers, spa experiences, and 4- and 5-star hotels) to your itinerary as you wish!

Why do you charge a design fee for planning a vacation?
My Design Fee allows me to work with a select number of clients at any one time. That way, I can provide high-touch service while diving deeply into researching the best itineraries for my clients, curating exceptional and exclusive travel experiences, and providing concierge-level support before, during, and after their travels.
My fee is always transparent to you and will be presented after our initial discovery call together, before I ask you to sign your contract. The Design Fee varies depending on the length and complexity of your trip, number of travelers, and other factors.
What is trip protection, and why do you recommend it?
Trip protection, or travel insurance, helps safeguard your vacation investment—which is especially important as we face numerous travel disruptions these days. Depending on the level of coverage you select, your trip protection can reimburse you in part or in whole if you lose luggage or experience a missed flight, injure yourself while abroad, or need to cancel your vacation in total (for covered reasons). Personally, I never travel without it!
